For a verity of reasons.
As a displacement or distraction.Since kids today are
Harry Potter displaces.Not even remotely educated or grown-up
enough to discern the two places that todays american society
are placed.
Which of course is what makes for an easy conduit towards
OTHER than Walt Disney style Wholsomeness and Fair Play.
Like can you dig this new type Americanism.
I doubt even Edie Sedgewick { Patron of Andy Warholism }
could pass a lie detector test to prove udderwise.
There hasn't been another Edie Sedgewick of fame since
the Glitter 60's and the Factory.
I still miss Edie.Not because she was virtually one of a kind
or as cute as sin,but because she WAS.Sometimes in culture
and Life ... there are Prophets.
For an assortment of reasons and displacement.She was like
a sister to everyone.No one truly disliked Edie Sedgewick
