Refs ignore blatant facemask on Georgia. Is the fix in for Georgia?

We'll see. Looks like the refs decided another big game to me but 5 minutes left Georgia down 3.
I missed seeing it and on mute. But I think I saw replay as I was walking back in. Dammmeeettt.

GA just hit 4th and 9. ARG. Oh lookey here, holding called on GA.

Why not? They seem to decide half the games I see as it is. I mean critical penalties that kill drives costing teams games, divisions and more, penalties which everyone is shocked at and disagrees with there in the stadium and are later proven through analysis to have been unjustified penalties.

They called a facemask on GA in the first quarter but it was in the open field front of God and everybody.

Perhaps if you could provide the video of play in question and let us see for ourselves.

LOL....I'm just surprised that Ole Miss is still call the Rebels. ;)

Sorry, I didn't see it. It's one play. Sorry they reviewed it and I don't hear anyone talking about that play so, sorry.

I came here to say yesterday had 2 great games. I know some people will say Indiana beating BAMA 38 to 3 was not a good game but that's just not true when it comes to the juggernot BAMA. So it was great to see Indiana whip them good. Watched every play. Bama tried and tried but not 1 touchdown.

Oregon whipped Texas Tech yesterday. That was a minor upset the 5 beat the 4 so go Oregon

I'm rooting for Indiana. They look like the national champions. But I guess any given Sunday, or Saturday.

There was no review, blatant facemask with the Ref looking right at it. Fortunately this non-call didn't give the game to Georgia.

college football is as fixed as the NFL.got to view high school football to enjoy LEGIT fair officiating where the PLAYERS get to decide the outcome of the game instead of the refs.

Same situation in the 4th quarter, running back going around the end, defender grabs his facemask and jerks his head.

I sat down to watch the ending of the game and saw the facemask. The non-call was ridiculous. Seeing this thread reminded me that I should look up which conference were these refs from. AI says...

The officials for the Ole Miss vs. Georgia Sugar Bowl on January 1, 2026, were from the SEC (Southeastern Conference) officiating pool, but worked as an independent crew for the CFP, as it was a College Football Playoff game, not a regular season SEC matchup, and they are typically provided by the conference's officiating body but operate under CFP rules, with fans noting controversial SEC-style calls, as per Yahoo Sports and ESPN, respectively.

Mr. Friscus doesn't believe it's possible that refs could be involved in rigging games

13 seasons from 1994 to 2007 until he was caught in a gambling scandal

I don't know if he ref'ed the 2005 NBA finals but Chauncey Billups is a cheater and if you watch the games the Piston's lost, it's pretty obvious he threw those games. My question is why didn't the coach bench him

Airball, turnover, foul, charge, suddenly Mr Big Shot was not? I don't think so.

I wouldn't be surprised if Harden rigs games. I've never seen anyone score 40 and win one game in the finals and then not show up again for one more game. Prove it. Especially when most people are dopey like Frisky
