Dave Wasserman, U.S. House editor at the nonpartisan Cook Political report, wrote in a Monday blog post that despite the boost Republicans are getting from reapportionment, the real gains will come from the fact that the GOP wields greater control over the redistricting process due to the party’s grip on power at the state level . . . .

I've already heard stories of the Census people trying to 'message' the numbers. They said Texas was possible to 3 new seats, not only 1. Same with Florida.

In fact, every 'Red' state was gaining big until the powers that be realized it.

New York was going to lose two, now only 1. Same with California. They were going to lose 3 now it's only 1.

They are already playing games. The GOP better have lawyers in the wings waiting.
