...and registration leads inextricably to confiscation...
And here's how it will play out.
It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out that if a guy (or gal) has the motivation and dedication to purpose to plan a mass shooting, buy body armor, write a manifesto, and boobytrap their dwelling with explosives...they might be able to divine that the best way to thwart a Red Flag Law is to cache a second firearm somewhere away from their home.
For those uninitiated... caching is a ubiquitous tactic used by both military and non-military forces. It is literally right out of the manual.
Inevitably, as we fail to address the underlying cause of these mass shooting, instead allowing the gun control activist to use these tragedies to advance their cause of eventual confiscation...some mentally ill or criminally twisted individual will evade the spirit of these Red Flag Laws in this easily foreseeable manner...and the call will come for registration of all firearms.
It's a path as simple to follow as a unsupervised toddler's at a bulk candy store.
