Here are some facts inflation was on the rise even as covid was fading gas prices have been on the rise during the Biden Presidency since he was sworn in which means it was happening before Russia ever invaded Ukraine. Biden and his supporters are the same as those who came before him when things are going bad it is everyone and everythings fault but his all Presidents get more bl;ame than they should when things are going bad and more credit than they should when things are going good. We all know if gas prices were under two dollars a gallon and inflation was at a 40 year low all of Biden's supporters in Congress and in and out of the media would be giving him full credit for it and he would be willingly and enthusiastically taking it. This is SOP with all Presidents everything good that happens is because of them but anything bad that happens they have nothing to do with them.

The letter from Tony Williot, titled “Disastrous Biden” June 12 could better be characterized as “Wearing Blinders.” He blames the president for inflation, weakness where Russia is concerned and the perpetuation of the pandemic, among other issues.

Here are some facts: High inflation is currently a phenomenon in most every industrialized country, and it is related to factors like supply chain issues and the coronavirus that are not within a leader’s control. Is Biden also responsible for increasing prices in Europe?

The perpetuation of the pandemic can be explained by the tens of millions of Americans who have resisted vaccination, the first time in the history of vaccines in which the issue has become political.

I understand the impulse to hold the leader responsible for all of the ills that afflict a society. When one has a political ax to grind, the ascribing of blame can be ludicrous.

The problem really isn't both sides. There doesn't seem to be 10 republicans in the senate who are willing to vote to pass anything coming from the house.
