Reality Sets In

lawlessness and obfuscation by the president and his crew is not something to be proud of....

What law says he has to release them

Trump doesn't have to release his returns, the IRS already has them.
If the dem congress scum had a valid reason to see them, the IRS would turn them over.

Since the IRS has had the returns and has not taken any action, it proves everything is legal.
Problem here.

The company that does Trumps taxes are ready to release them. They are waiting on the subpoena that will make it legal.

Oops!

A week ago amid a lot of arrogant huffing and puffing congressional Dems demanded the full, unredacted Mueller Report by April 2, a deadline that passed quietly and without USAG Barr's compliance. Next came congressional demands for Trump's tax returns and the response came today … acting WH chief of staff said Democrats will never get Trump's returns. :D
What's that? Trump is finally being honest?
Can we have a quote?
Can you point to anything in my post that would make a rational poster to think there is a Trump quote?

Perhaps you can tell me … what is it about Shrillary's epic defeat that caused so many Clintonettes - including our congressional Dems and most of leftarded media - to completely lose their minds?

If you still cry yourself to sleep every fucking night, awake on the angry, bitter side of the bed every fucking morning, and obsess all day long I respectfully suggest you at least consider committing yourself for observation.

Is "Trump Derangement Syndrome" a Real Mental Condition?
"Many have argued that some people have been seriously disturbed and distressed by the policies, speech, behavior and tweets of President Trump, so much so that it has affected their cognitive, affective and behavioral functioning. Such people may need mental health support." - Rob Whitley, Ph.D.
Can you point to anything in my post that would make a rational poster to think there is a Trump quote?
Why, yes: the response came today … acting WH chief of staff said Democrats will never get Trump's returns.
Do you think the acting White House Chief of Staff said that without the President's agreement?

I don't know what on earth you're going on about. Stupid asshole.

'...The House effectively delegates its oversight responsibilities to its committees which can issue subpoenas for documents or testimony from the executive branch. In the matter of tax returns, the law could not be more clear (see Code sec. 6103(f)): Upon written request by either the Chairman of either the House Ways and Means Committee or the Senate Finance Committee, the Treasury Secretary “shall furnish such committee with any return or return information specified in such request.” The Ways and Means Committee may share these tax returns and related information with the full House, assuming there is a legitimate purpose for doing so.

Congress gave itself the right to review any return or return information in 1924, in the aftermath of two controversies. One was the Teapot Dome scandal, where senior officials in the Harding Administration granted public oil field leases in exchange for bribes. The other involved allegations that Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon continued to own many business interests while serving in government. Some believed the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the precursor to the IRS, showed favoritism to the secretary and his businesses.

Congress Can And Should Demand President Trump's Tax Returns

"assuming there is a legitimate purpose for doing so"

What would be legitimate purpose of requesting his tax returns?

The company can only release them if Trump authorizes it.

Never going to happen. No law says it has to

how am i supposta know?
You obviously don't know and have made that clear.

the question was 'what law' i furnished the answer. you'll hafta ask the chairman of the house ways & means committee who is reciting it.
The questions was which law forces Donald Trump to reveal his private tax returns
and you've just cited a law which you plainly admit you know nothing about so that's really no answer at all.
Because you have no idea if it forces Trump to expose his tax returns or not.

Clearly democrat spear carrier Richard Neal is not claiming this law forces Trump to reveal his private information or this law would have been invoked the very second the shitbag democrats took control of the House.

Thanks for admitting you are parroting information without any knowledge of the information itself. That was a big help.

oh bullshit. the poster asked....now get this.... WHAT LAW? i answered.... are you listening..... WHAT LAW. that's it. that's all. i am not a lawyer.... are YOU? if you are gonna get on my case because you wanna play partisan politics, go ahead. but you are being silly for doing so.

Not really, he didn't ask for just any law, he was being specific, and the question was:

"Which law forces Donald Trump to reveal his private tax returns?"

The law you cited doesn't do that.

They don't want his returns. They want the appearance of a coverup. Now they have it.

Pretty much this. They're trying to save themselves from embarrassment.

They've been going after Trump, his family, his friends, his staff, for almost three years, by using soviet style star chamber activities, with one goal in sight, 2020 presidential elections. Democrat party is using House of Representatives, on taxpayers dime, to try digging any dirt they can find before the elections begin. That IS real abuse of power, and wasteful spending of our dollars.

The request to IRS for Trumps tax returns violates the law, the same one lefties mentioned above a as argument for tax return release. The use of Committee's authority to access and make public the tax return of single individual for purely political purposes, would not just be a precedent, but would undermine the core intent of the law that protects the privacy of the citizen's returns.

Have anyone seen the reason why Committee is asking for his tax returns?

"... committee responsibility to ensure that IRS is enforcing laws in fair and impartial manner".

Can anyone believe this crap?

A political vendetta is not considered a "legitimate purpose.
The hysterical angry left is playing Wliey Coyote again to Trump's Roadrunner.

It's not just vendetta for beating Hillary in 2016.

I see it as continuous demands for something in order to keep him in check.

If he doesn't what they ask, and it doesn't matter if they have legal ground for asking, they will accuse him of obstruction, or cover up, or whatever they can come up with in order to corner him, so they can trigger the impeachment clause. You better answer Mueller questions", or "You better give us unredacted Mueller report" or "You better give us tax returns"... they setting up ridiculous deadlines, constantly going to courts with one charge after another with one sole purpose of blackmailing him while they're building the impeachment case.

House Dems don't need an excuse to trigger impeachment. They simply float the vote and win by simple majority. Of course, there is the little problem of getting 2/3 of the Senate to go along with the House scam and they only get 1 shot at him so they better make it count. A fraud like the one Dems foisted on this country WRT the Kavanaugh confirmation will get blown off the Senate floor in 15 minutes … at most.

Compared to Obama, Trump is a boy scout.
:rofl::rofl:

:cuckoo:

it is Trump who believes he is above the Law, and who has changed every ethical standard, every ethical rule, every ethical protocol on the books.....

from interviewuing personally the AG's for the States he operates businesses in, to desiring and putting in his own Roy Cohn as attorney general to be his personal mob lawyer, to pardoning people who have not served a day of time or admitted sorrow for their crimes, to spitting on nepotism rules by putting in Ivanka and Jarod, to inviting the Russians who interfered in our election in to his oval office, to giving them top secret information while in there without following the protocol on release.... to spitting on our top secret clearance standards and protocols put in place for our national security and safety with his hires... to making every single position in our govt, even for dedicated career employees... a political partisan position for only hires that grovel at his feet....

and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on of breaking one government rule and standard after another, which had been put in place to set the legal and ethical standards in our govt., being shattered and crushed by this lawless Teflon Don.....

he's very slimy.... a crooked, slithering snake....

And I do not see how anyone paying attention, can not recognize this....??? For those who have an ear that can hear, and eyes that can see, it is in plain sight.... imo.

Donald does not have to give his personal copies of his returns, the IRS commissioner has to release them upon request, from 1 of 3 different chairmen of House and senate committees in charge of creating tax law and oversight.
