Reality Sets In

lawlessness and obfuscation by the president and his crew is not something to be proud of....

What law says he has to release them
He does not have to release his own copies of his taxes, the law states the chairman of one of the 3 committees involved with tax code oversight requests them from the Treasury secretary/IRS Chairman, and they must (shall) release them to them... in a private, secure setting... not for the public to see, but for these committee members to see. US IRS CODE 6103 f.
Yeah right, and that would last about 48 hours before some weasel leaks the tax returns to the Media.

Incorrect. You are being fed absolute BS by your leftarded media … the same leftarded media that assured you for 2 full years that the Mueller witch-hunt would give you a happy ending. They were lying then and they are lying now and you swallow, Princess.

Congressional Dems aren't demanding the returns as part of a criminal investigation involving the POTUS but rather in the hope they might find something. It's just another witch-hunt and as Mulvaney stated today they will never see his returns unless he voluntarily submits.

Frankly, I just don't see that ever happening. WTF up, dupe.:D

Trumps finances are no one else’s business but his own...

Trump's finances are the business of European (German) banks, Russian banks, and to a lesser degree the Saudis.
Trump has not obtained a single loan from a legitimate US banking source in over three decades.
Foreign entities have a lot of leverage over the current POTUS; do you believe that is a good thing?
I understand that some within the conversation are too stupid to comprehend this, or to even give a fuck.

'...The House effectively delegates its oversight responsibilities to its committees which can issue subpoenas for documents or testimony from the executive branch. In the matter of tax returns, the law could not be more clear (see Code sec. 6103(f)): Upon written request by either the Chairman of either the House Ways and Means Committee or the Senate Finance Committee, the Treasury Secretary “shall furnish such committee with any return or return information specified in such request.” The Ways and Means Committee may share these tax returns and related information with the full House, assuming there is a legitimate purpose for doing so.

Congress gave itself the right to review any return or return information in 1924, in the aftermath of two controversies. One was the Teapot Dome scandal, where senior officials in the Harding Administration granted public oil field leases in exchange for bribes. The other involved allegations that Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon continued to own many business interests while serving in government. Some believed the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the precursor to the IRS, showed favoritism to the secretary and his businesses.

Congress Can And Should Demand President Trump's Tax Returns

A week ago amid a lot of arrogant huffing and puffing congressional Dems demanded the full, unredacted Mueller Report by April 2, a deadline that passed quietly and without USAG Barr's compliance. Next came congressional demands for Trump's tax returns and the response came today … acting WH chief of staff said Democrats will never get Trump's returns. :D
This isn't reality son, it's some.kimda perverted conservitard fantasy. Don't worry, reality will return soon.

how am i supposta know?
You obviously don't know and have made that clear.

the question was 'what law' i furnished the answer. you'll hafta ask the chairman of the house ways & means committee who is reciting it.
The questions was which law forces Donald Trump to reveal his private tax returns
and you've just cited a law which you plainly admit you know nothing about so that's really no answer at all.
Because you have no idea if it forces Trump to expose his tax returns or not.

Clearly democrat spear carrier Richard Neal is not claiming this law forces Trump to reveal his private information or this law would have been invoked the very second the shitbag democrats took control of the House.

Thanks for admitting you are parroting information without any knowledge of the information itself. That was a big help.

oh bullshit. the poster asked....now get this.... WHAT LAW? i answered.... are you listening..... WHAT LAW. that's it. that's all. i am not a lawyer.... are YOU? if you are gonna get on my case because you wanna play partisan politics, go ahead. but you are being silly for doing so.

I highlighted the part of your post that is unproven speculative bunk! You are welcome.
Try to contain your remarks to what you actually know, in the future. It would do a lot for your
credibility which is sadly lacking.

By the way, your claim that Trump hasn't had a loan from a US source in over three decades is also unsubstantiated fluff, but I let that slide a bit because it really is secondary to your other
highly speculative claim.

lawlessness and obfuscation by the president and his crew is not something to be proud of....
Refusing to accept an election result, hatching a ridiculous "Collusion" scheme as an excuse for their horrendous failure, wasting millions of tax dollars, destroying many innocent people financially is nothing to be proud of.
do you really believe that made up hogwash?

They don't want his returns. They want the appearance of a coverup. Now they have it.

This is the question you responded to: What law says he has to release them? (them...Trump tax returns).
You didn't just cite a law, Junior. You cited a law that presumably says Donald Trump must release his tax returns
in response to someone else's question.

Stop playing dumb if you are indeed playing. Know what you are posting about and when you don't, admit it.
Stop passing off democrat talking points as fact. It's bullshit!

There is no legitimate purpose for the partisan House Ways and Means Committee to
burrow around in Donald Trump's private tax returns except for possible political gain for the democrats and that is not legitimate in any legal sense of the word!.

And post #36 addressed all that crap. Get a clue, Junior.

If the party of infanticide, socialism and collapsed borders wants to take their case to the Supreme Court where they will have to justify their claim they have a legitimate reason for skulking around in Trump's past tax returns (legitimate meaning not a witch hunt looking for political dirt) then I welcome that spectacle.

When Trump wins reelection, as so many experts predict he will, will the public have any stomach at all for such a rehash of the Russian collusion hoax and two year investigation that yielded nothing? I am guessing the answer will be NO.
And I have zero doubt the Supreme Court will find that the democrat party has no business
using US tax code as an excuse to carry out their political vendetta.
