What in the blue hell are you talking about Emily?
Blue hell is right. The same way you quoted the Republicans as being corrupted by corporate interest. I was saying the same can be said of Democrats playing this game.
Both parties have sincere members trying to fulfill a good purpose and platform; both parties get abused by greedy interests for which their parties are blamed and discredited.
Here is the letter, if you'd like to take up this challenge.
Of posting a national invitation to both Dems and GOP to see who will respond,
and who will let others pay for this program. We'll see if Dem backers really support Black History and African American education; and if the GOP backers really support Vets and if the trickle down theory works, that if you leave it to the private sector, the money saved will be invested in better programs and businesses than going through the govt.

Dear Proud Americans:
If you can read this email, please join in giving thanks to the U.S. Military for the Internet, and the political freedom to speak and organize freely.
Thanks to the Internet, I know many people who otherwise may not be with us today, except for online access to referrals and resources which saved their lives. We elected our first African American President thanks in part to online organizing, that was able to reach people around the world in support.
The Internet has opened the door to independent media, where more people can check multiple sources for false, misleading or suppressed information, and there is greater ability to hold our government and large corporations accountable. More and more citizens can organize and participate directly in enforcing equal standards of due process and representation of peopleÂ’s interests on the grassroots level affected by local and global policies alike.
Given the fallout in Libya, we are reminded how much we owe our Military thanks for this freedom we have to continue our elections, without threat of violent disruption between opposing parties shutting down the process. Though we may still abuse our free speech and Internet to bully, using words as weapons, the war of words can be won without physical violence. Every day, we use our free speech and press to educate and correct one another civilly, thanks to GodÂ’s gift of intellectual freedom and all those who have made great sacrifices, so we can exercise our freedoms to grow as a nation and society.
At this time, I ask your help to think of ONE person – a teacher, church volunteer, military or police officer, or other friend or leader – you would most like to thank for inspiring you to be a bigger, better person, and to make the most of your resources and potential to fulfill your dreams and purpose in life.
If you can name the person you would most like to be remembered in history as a personal hero, I am asking everyone reading this email to collect donations of $5 per person, form a community team, and invest your money in saving a historic building, house, church or school to honor your favorite Veterans and leaders who have contributed to your city’s history. If you can organize a network of sites, I urge you to contact local schools and historic or civic associations to create a “campus” of housing, education and service facilities to build jobs using local resources. To collect matching funds by donation or business loan, you can honor your heroes by printing local bonds or currency, with images of community landmarks and leaders, and distribute these among investors and businesses that agree to accept and circulate local currency. (Please see
Ithaca Hours - Local Currency - Ithaca, New York or
http://www.ithacahours.com for instructions.)
The goal of this campaign to send a message of “Thanks a Million to our Troops” is for a Million people to collect $5-10 each. If we can raise 10 million dollars, we can buy and save historic property to create local campus programs for education, health care and social services integrated into housing for Vets.
If your community does not have money, but debts and damages caused by crime or corruption, please organize teams around an issue requiring correction or a victim deserving of restitution. Pick a site for a community center or program to address these grievances, and issue local notes to represent the cost of restitution owed as needed to restore the family or community affected, and collect loans or donations, using the property or program as collateral. Either the wrongdoers can pay back their debt, or the citizens who invest in paying the restitution will share ownership in the program that resolves the problem.
In order to generate sustainable income, I recommend researching and selecting property that churches or nonprofits can purchase tax-free, or which business partners can use to help charities manage investment property to build a longterm endowment or trust. (Please see
http://www.luinc.com.)
If you or your team chooses to focus on a historic hero or issue of statewide or national importance, please contact me about organizing a national team and federal microlending system per State, for honoring your leaders, redressing grievances and debts owed to taxpayers, and investing restitution into preserving landmarks across our country. If you are in California, please organize around the Headwaters Redwood Forest and endangered wildlife destroyed by hostile corporate takeover at a cost of over $1 billion to taxpayers in failed junk bonds and interest. If you are in Texas, please join the nonprofit coalition of 8 historic churches built by Freed Slaves after Emancipation in honoring African American and Civil Rights leaders by building a campus for housing Vets and training future leaders from all States in the National Historic District of FreedmenÂ’s Town, as a model for rebuilding America.
This Thanksgiving and Christmas Season, please give Thanks to our Troops, local leaders and national heroes by investing in America.
Pick a site, form a team around the issues or leaders you most want to recognize publicly, and organize your local nonprofits, churches, businesses and schools in the area to create a community program and a historic legacy in honor of the people who most inspire you to serve your country as they did.
Thank you and God Bless!
Yours truly,
Emily Nghiem

Please use $ 5 million offer to donate to nonprofit Coalition of Pastoral Leaders to purchase 3 blocks of historic property for Vets to build a campus. The last 8 Freed Slave Churches in our National Historic District of Freedmen's Town formed a team of community leaders to develop business plans to preserve the last 10 rowhouses to house and train Vets in sustainable financial/property management, to generate revenue for historic preservation. Restoring Freedmen's Town District as a community campus will create jobs in housing, health care and education with a focus on African American Civil Rights, Church, and Military history.
