The 3/5 rule was used to at some point in the future to be able to overturn slavery. That’s just the facts. Even today, there are bad laws that take a long time to change. The Republic was set up that way so tyranny of the majority would take a long time to win and give time for the minority to stop it. Just the facts. But, Harris Democrats want to change that. They made one change a while back when the Senate wasn’t picked by the State legislatures anymore. Bad move.

Except I don't have to judge them by my morals... I can judge them on their own, and they come up wanting. "All Men are Created Equal and are imbued with certain unalienable rights, including life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness". You don't express those as your fundamental principles and THEN keep chattel slavery because it is the path of least resistance.

And the men who said that shit - Jefferson, Washington, Monroe - were all slave owners.

Also, the British didn't attack us; Madison started the war because he thought he could grab Canada while the British were preoccupied with dealing with Napoleon. Instead, they brought a big case of Whoop-ass, and it got so bad the Northern States considered seceding at the New Hartford Convention in 1814.

Actually, that was never the plan. You think the Founders were ethical people, when they really weren't. Of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence, 41 owned slaves. Of the 55 delegates to the constitutional convention, 25 owned slaves. This is why I call them, "The Founding Slave Rapists"... they had no interest in ending slavery. Slavery DID become unacceptable in the rest of the civilized world later, but not these assholes.

Your morals seem to steal from the Declaration of Independence and change them to suit your morality based on a foundation of sand. The society slips one way and their you go. Like Democrats who agreed 100% that Bill Clinton was right to sign in the Marriage between a man and a woman only act. But, then it is expedient to win elections by shifting that to support the LGBTQ. Now, you can marry your dog. National Organization of Women used to be for women's rights to not be second fiddle to men's rights, especially in sports. Title IX was enacted and women had equal scholarship opportunities. It wiped out many sports programs in colleges and high school. Many top wrestling schools had to give up men's wrestling for women' whifelball or something. But today, the organization is backing men beating the crap out of women by allowing men to compete against them in speed and strength sports like swimming and track and field. Even world weight lifting events shattering women's world records. That's your morality in a nutshell. Whatever feels good, do it. My morality exists on a solid firm foundation in Jesus Christ, keeping his commandments. You left out "We are endowed by our CREATOR. And, yes, they meant God of the universe, Jesus Christ. That's where your rights come from. Not the government or some gaggling fake vice-president who thinks she can be President.

Yep, 25 of the signers of the delegates writing up the Constitution were slave owners. Without enough of them signing on to the Constitution, they would all eventually die when the British come again. The Southern states would have remained a separate country with their own individual Constitutions. Neither one could defend against the British, French or anyone else. The two side needed each other. Just like Democrats need Republicans and Republicans need Democrats to remain a Constitutional Republic and keep from tyranny of the majority in a Democracy state of being. So, the 30 and the 25 had to merge and compromise. Neither side liked it but we became a Constitutional Republic which would eventually set up the abolishment of tyranny over the minority. But, the House had to remain in a state that would stop tyranny of the Southern majority. Jefferson, the one you hate, came up with the 3/5 rule to pave the way for compromise on both sides and eventually eliminate slavery. Were the Founding Fathers all perfect moral people? Nope. No one is. Except our Creator, Jesus Christ. But, just like our dilemma today, the left Democrats who are horrible moral people attack the right Republicans who are horrible moral people. But, one side will continue to work towards preserving the Constitution and the Constitutional Republic and the other side wants to get rid of both to replace it with communism and a cradle to grave tyranny over every person in the United States. If Harris wins and the Congress goes Democrat, there will be no turning back to losing your God-given rights of the freedom you currently have. So, Trump and the Republicans are the only way to preserve your freedom and rights. You'll have to vote for the meanie to remain a free man.
