National Organization of Women used to be for women's rights to not be second fiddle to men's rights, especially in sports. Title IX was enacted and women had equal scholarship opportunities. It wiped out many sports programs in colleges and high school.

Actually many of the Founders were Deists, not Christians. It's why they avoided terms like "God" and "Jesus".

Yep, 25 of the signers of the delegates writing up the Constitution were slave owners. Without enough of them signing on to the Constitution, they would all eventually die when the British come again. The Southern states would have remained a separate country with their own individual Constitutions. Neither one could defend against the British, French or anyone else. The two side needed each other.

The British had no intent of coming back, and the French pretty much bankrupted themselves supporting our revolution.

Just like Democrats need Republicans and Republicans need Democrats to remain a Constitutional Republic and keep from tyranny of the majority in a Democracy state of being. But, the House had to remain in a state that would stop tyranny of the Southern majority.
