Rashad Brookes officer back on force

Imagine claiming to support small government and oppose state tyranny, while demanding that big gubmint's law enforcers be allowed to operate without oversight or accountibility

If he's willing to go back into that job then I have no sympathy for him in the future.

We don't know that he actually is. He's still on administrative leave until the case is settled one way or another. Could be he just didn't want to be summarily fired as though he was automatically guilty.

here com e the blms to burn people out now. lordy lordy.
He should be reinstated with all seniority and back pay and paid punitive damages for the wrongful termination.

I think he asked for all of that except the punitive damages. You have a point, though, because not only did they not have grounds for summarily firing him, it potentially did real harm to his trial.

He should have never been fired in the first place. The suspect turned around while running and fired a weapon at the police officer while in pursuit. A police officer can't assume that it's the stun gun that was taken from him during the struggle even though tasers have also been known to kill people. He did nothing wrong.
