Yes, no analogy is perfect. The principle is the the same. Nazis were spread out in multiple units and multiple locations, same as the cartels, but the resistance still fought them.
Gangsters in the 30's kept people from rising against them, by keeping their extortion to a much more reasonable level than our taxes are now, and by providing public services.
The French had little in the way of arms, training and experience (except for the WWI vets), but they had the spirit to fight for their people, especially the women who were victimized by the Nazis. They got help from the allies in the form of weapons and intelligence.
They did not succeed in driving the Nazis out, but at least they tried. Why are los Hombres de Mexico doing nothing?
The drug cartels rule by fear and force, and if we are to address that root cause of illegal immigration, it will require arming men who are willing to fight. Except we don't know of any as far as I know.
If that's not an answer, how would you address those root causes?

Nobody is arguing that part but a wall would keep them all out or try to anyways, (the illegals) no matter the reason.
I don't think that democrats know what the word illegal means.

That is not true.... their conditions are not as bad as we are told... years ago people came here for a new life and to work hard... not today... maybe 25% come here for that today the rest have other reasons... so you build the fence and stop the welfare checks and anchor baby rules and they will stay home... the ones who want to work hard will use the legal entry path and they will benefit America not bring harm and mayhem and slothfulness....

We could legally allow many, many more guest workers, who could earn their way to permanent residency through staying gainfully employed, off of welfare and law-abiding, if we would keep out those who just feel entitled to walk in and "claim assylum."
