Ranking all 13 martial arts !! Best to worse

Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Savate, capoeira ( which is really cool to watch), just a few.

Free style and Greco Roman can be great for police. And of course the art of football tackles 🤪

Greco Roman is under wrestling
I do have TKD on my list

Hapkido would be in the avg range

My opinion only !!

Best

1) Wrestling
2) Boxing
3) Muay Thai
4) BJJ

Semi -good

5) Sambo
6) Judo
7) Kickboxing

Avg

8) Krav Maga
9) Karate

Bad

10) Japanese JJ
11) TKD
12) Kung Fu
13) Akido
It primarily depends on what you are looking for:

Martial arts competitive fighting
Sports grappling

Or a lethal street fighting and weapons technique

As for the latter it is undoubtedly the Malaysian/Indonesian BERSILAT

Because BERSILAT relies on lethality and targets vital points, its techniques are designed to permanently injure or incapacitate, many moves involve gouging eyes, targeting the throat, or breaking joints, a vast majority of its techniques are banned in combat sports formats like MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or Muay Thai.

Almost all of South-East-Asian commando units and special forces in e.g. South Africa's RECCES, British, New-Zealand and Australian SAS, as well as Germany's GSG9 and KSK teach and train it.

As with all sports - its execution/skill level, always depends heavily on your teacher or instructor and intensity of training.

MT is way way better than KF or JKD

Sadly Q, you have very narrow, limited experience in martial arts, so you judge the best systems who have a steep learning curve and difficult to learn as inferior just because you never learned them.

Offhand, I'd say 9 out of every 10 KF students are not even really learning KF, that is just what their instructor is telling them, so they can charge them for the hour.

HOW RUDE

Cuz the Joooos own martial arts like everything e

Most JEWs only do Tennis or Golf . I rarely have ever seen one do any fighting style unless its IVY law school

My brother is an outstanding Boxer and ok at MT

What is rude? Hearing the truth? You rank some of the best martial arts systems the lowest simply because you have little mastery of or experience in them. First of all, they are not taught properly in America, some schools teach it only teach a westernized system watered down like hard math that is simplified to make it easy enough for most american students to master, and these teachers are sub par instructors themselves without a true mastery of the art themselves.

Then to add to that, even the watered down westernized systems are still harder to learn, take more time and more work to master at that. The end result is that the art gets a bad rap when the truth is that the true masters of the art stay in China and keep it mostly to themselves, or try to. They don't want Americans learning it. Lee himself caught a lot of flack for as much as he shared.

How can anyone have only one fighting style? Isn't it more natural to gravitate whichever fighting style suits your body type and just take a little bit from several than train extensively in any one style? I have the most training in karate, although even that isn't typical karate sensei's name was Tim, so he called it "Tim Shou Do" because it integrated his SEAL training into the curriculum.

What wins fights at the UFC level !! Jabs, Powerful right hands, leg kicks , Double leg blasts , Single legs, Rear naked choke from rear mount and ground and pound.

"Best martial art"

Not sure what that even means. It would always depend on who you are fighting.
If your opponent is an expert boxer, you might fair better against with BJJ or wrestling than you would with boxing, unless you're just as much an expert. Such perfectly evenly matched fights don't happen, in real life. Except sometimes in the ring. But that isn't really what we are talking about, here.

What if your opponent is armed, or armored? Throws and submissions are better than strikes.

What if your opponent is huge, but slow? Striking would be preferred.

And? This is what is taught and this is what the contestants know who compete there, so, you were expecting something else? You've just proven that you do not understand the most important and basic first thing about Asian fighting systems. Half of all eastern martial arts occur before (or if even) the first blow is ever exchanged.

True fighting, true competition, occurs in the MIND not the FIST you dumbass. Learn it.

A strong mind can defeat any body, but a weak mind will not be helped regardless of the physical training. Can you guess why?

Because the will directs the mind and the mind directs the matter (or body), not the other way around. You THINK your way out of a fight or to victory, not fight your way.

Maybe that'll sink in.
