This case had nothing to do with the underlying cause of the riots. It had to do with whether or not a kid can protect himself when being attacked. But in terms of a race card, do you think that if a black protestor had gunned down three people in similar circumstances claiming "self-defence", that the jury would have found him "not guilty"? You have cases right now, where a black man was within minutes of being executed for a crime that someone else has already confessed to. The confessed killer is a free man, but Jones remains in prison.

There is another case, where a black man is still sitting in prison for crime someone else confessed to, and the witness has admitted that the police pressured her to identify the man in prison as the guy who did it, even though she knew it wasn't him. The Republican governor has all of the paperwork on his desk from the prosecutor who wants the conviction reversed, and a pardon issued, and he has, thus far, refused to sign the pardon which is sitting on his desk.
