Every battle has its own set of peculiarities that require a separate set of tactics.

In the primaries Trump fought back long and hard on a personal as well as a policy level, and he came out on top, but none of his opponents have the major media in their pocket like Hillary does.

So this is a new set of circumstances that Trump has to adapt to. If Trump fights back at Hillary as he has been doing the Clinton media will ignore everything else that Trump does or says except as it might relate to the current bullshit slander that they are hitting him with.

Trump can give a 6 hour speech on tax policy, then answer one question on some obvious liar's accusations and that will be ALL THE MEDIA TALKS ABOUT FOR ANOTHER 24 HOURS.

This sucks all the proverbial "air out of the room" and he thus blocks his own message that he needs to get out to paint an accurate picture of what Hillary has done and plans to do to this country that the Clinton media is hiding from the public.
