About 53% of the public is in favor of Congress’ taking action to cap the out-of-pocket cost of insulin, according to a recent poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation.
(The Washington Post) Trump boasted he made insulin so cheap ‘it’s like water.’ Americans with diabetes beg to differ. . Associated research findings from the National Library of Medicine.

They just take credit even though they tried to stop it.
I understand people have their media sources but they best get some truth. GOP tried to stop cheap insullin for everyone and Dems got it for Medicare...
Well, the article admits the hazy ambiguity of a natural born citizen, and is contradictory and convoluted in other ways. Being a citizen ought to be cut and dry. Further, why would Harris not need naturalization? She was born to foreigner parents. They were not US citizens but probably 1 or both later got naturalized.
And why would anyone being born here automatically be a citizen? If my parents had me in Poland, I'd still be a US citizen. So why wouldn't I be a citizen of Poland? I don't get this desire to make everyone a US citizen.
Laws are regularly changed and I hope someday they will reexamine this issue too.

May 9, 2024 — Former President Donald Trump asked oil industry executives last month to donate $1 billion to aid his campaign to retake the White House.
The April dinner at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club was described as a roundtable discussion on energy security, according to one person familiar with the event who was granted anonymity to discuss the private gathering. It included executives from oil companies Exxon Mobil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips and Continental Resources as well as from natural gas producer EQT and gas exporter Cheniere Energy, and the trade association American Petroleum Institute.
If the price of a loaf of bread is set by the government at $2.00. and it costs bakers $2.50 to make and deliver a loaf to the store, the baker will stop baking and the store will stop selling because neither can make a profit selling bread for $2.00 per loaf. It's not complicated or confusing, it's simple and logical common sense. Sorry if you are unable to understand.
you said no one is advocating selling products at a loss, WTF do you think price controls do then? Geez are you that dumb?

WTF?
You give hypothetical BS.
NO ONE is going to FORCE a private company to provide products or services at a loss.
USPS is an exception........Semi-private.

The government shouldn’t be involved in price fixing. Like many of the Democrat’s policies, they sound neat, until you think about them. The problem is, most Democrats don’t think, they just react.
You lie. If she is in office, we will see the truth of what Progs will do. Like they did when she was Vice President. Progs do not regress in their agendas.
The US is a free market. If your local grocery store is too high, you go to the one down the street. The government should not be involved unless it is to break up a monopoly or investigate collusion, which are both illegal.
Construction cost have gone WAY up in my area because of the influx of people moving to my area and my state. The price of material and labor did increase quite a bit over the last 3 years, but contractors are still charging far more per square foot than can be justified by the increase in their costs. Are they “gouging” too? Should the government step in or should we let the free market run its course and for competition to naturally bring those prices back down?

There are no fewer than 8-10 different big grocery stores(several of each) where I live. If one is too high, I go to the other, if they are all too high then either a) they are colluding which is already illegal or b) they are charging the least they can charge while still operating their business.
If you believe Home Depot and Lowe’s are monopolies(they aren’t), then attempt to break them up under that premise. Price fixing is not the answer.
