Questions to Muslims

It's not uttering a sentence. It's realizing something, then you speak it out loud, to yourself of to others.

One is not killed if he leaves Islam for another religion. The government, whose law is Islam kills the one who leaves Islam for another religion. "Our nation belongs to God Almighty, who likes the law of Islam. Once you accept this law of God, don't humiliate Him by leaving His law for another law that you think is better. If you dare to do it, our government will have you killed, as a criminal."

How do you reconcile that against the fact that, even as a political leader, Muhammad did not have apostates killed for leaving the Islamic faith while in Abyssinia?
How do moslems reconcile such idol worship of muhammud (swish)?

1) Why do you believe in a god that cannot what his creations can?

You say He cannot rest. Why not? He can do whatever He wants. And if He wants a day off He is more than entitled to it.

If He wants to have a Son, why can't He?

And yet we can have offspring and relax when we feel like it. So why do you believe a god who makes his creatures that can do what He cannot?

2) why do you personally claim that Muslims are not supposed to wage war anymore when your scriptures and prophet said otherwise? When did this command change? And how can it change unless God reveals it to another prophet? Who recieved this command and why does the Muslim world at large reject it? And why do you keep ignoring this question when I ask?

3) how do you know the Quran is true or that Mohammad was a prophet? Indeed how can you except with the Spirit of prophecy given by the Holy Spirit?

4) why are you unwilling to read the Bible and Book of Mormon? How can you claim to be secure in your faith while being unwilling to understand others?

A God that creates, for example, does not decide to be created. Some men when they grow old do not like to marry women in their 30s, let's say. An Almighty God never likes to have a son, as if he was a mere human being.

That Islam forbade war in the present day, that's obviousness. It does not need to be written. Islam talks to people "who possess intelligence", as the Qur'an says. The Muslim world at large rejects Holy war. The youths of Europe are very fond of going to Syria to join ISIS. It does not make it Islamic.

Muhammad is in all obviousness a prophet from God, peace be upon him and his family. Learn about the Night Journey in Wikipedia. Muhammad is true and his book that he conveys to us, from God, the Qur'an is true.

I am not interested in Holy Books of other religions because I don't like falsehood. All religions are ultimately false, except one. Only one religion can be true. That religion is obviously Islam. If it is not obvious to you, still you can not run around reading all these supposedly holy books. Faith is not about being secure, it is about being true to God Almighty who loves you, created you, sustains you and showers His favours upon you.

They tend to point to a Quranic verse that tells them to listen to the prophet (Muhammad). I find it rather flimsy justification for what is essentially the deification of a human being by trying to emulate his every action and opinion, despite the fact that the notes you have on him essentially stemmed from a 200 year long game of telephone.

In other words, I'm not a very big fan of the heavy utilization of hadith in the construction of religious law within Islam.

Can you be a true Muslim if you have not murdered a Kafir? Will Allah accept you into the nest of evil that is Islam if you have not engaged in great evil?

What is Kafir ? Tell me its closest meaning in English.

A 1.2 (or more) billion people religion obviously teaches nothing but good. I mean, a sect does not have these many followers. In other words, Islam teaches to love people, not to kill them. A Kafir is an unbeliever, someone who disbelieves in the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

The guding lines of Sharia was formulated by saints of Islam: Malik Ibn Anas, Abu Hanifa, Imam Shafi and Imam Ahmad Hanbal. It is thanks to them that we have Sharia. Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) also had Sharia but it was not named such at the time. Each of these 4 saints has his own way of understanding the Qur'an and the Hadiths (the sayings of Muhammad).

Muslims don't worship Muhammad. We pray to God and while we pray to Him we tell Him "Your prophet Muhammad...". We have a great respect for Muhammad. Someone who teaches you something deserves your utmost respect. It is not something you should minimize, if you have dignity and if you are grateful.

Islam's just Judaism v3.0. Christianity was v2.0. If seriously interested in pleasing God, why not just study to become Jewish? How "true" can a 3rd version be if to join it you just utter a sentence? Sounds made up :)

The notion that if you utter the Shahada, you become Muslim, stems from the Islamic tradition of not knowing what is in a man's mind / heart / not judging based on the unknown. There is a hadith where during battle, a man drops his spear and says the shahada, hearing this, the Muslim soldier kills him anyway claiming that he only said it to have his life spared. When news is brought to Muhammad, the soldier is chastised for killing a fellow Muslim. The dead "convert" may very well have only said it to have his life spared, but that is not for individuals to decide; additionally, Muhammad asserted that even if the man was not entirely genuine in his conversion it still represents an opportunity to introduce someone to the faith.

So while a practicing Muslim should do more than simply utter the shahada, that is technically all one needs to do in order to meet the base requirements.

You are completely wrong. One who says in the intimacy of his room, "there is no God but God and Muhammad is the Messenger of God", while no one sees him except God becomes a Muslim. He wants to become a Muslim, so he becomes a Muslim.

I saw a lot of you can't or won't answer because it's obvious. Which is a non answer.

How can you be faithful to a God you do not know? And how do you know a God who miss silent?

Any fool can recite one sentence and become a Muslim, but you can be killed for leaving Islam.

Hadith Muslim
Book 16, Number 4152:
'Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying : It is not permissible to take the life of a Muslim who bears testimony (to the fact that there is no god but Allah, and I am the Messenger of Allah, but in one of the three cases: the married adulterer, a life for life, and the deserter of his Din (Islam), abandoning the community.

there were a number of people who left the faith during Muhammad's lifetime and he didn't have them killed for doing so. The greater historical connection to Muhammad does not mandate death for apostasy.

Sharia has nothing to do with Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). It was formulated after Muhammad, in its essence and its realities by 4 saints of Islam guided by the guidance of Muhammad: Imam Malik, Abu Hanifa, Imam Ahmad Hanbal and Imam Shafi.

Are you Sufi?

Let me ask it this way: how can you consider your faith strong when you aren't willing to learn about other faiths because you're afraid?

Perfect faith casts out fear

Not everyone who utters it wants to become a Muslim, and if one wants to become a Muslim they tend to do more than utter it.

Yes, we see that every time Hamas picks up a child as a human shield, every time the PLO straps a bomb to child and sends them to murder, every time ISIS cuts the head off of a Christian, every time Al Qaeda rams a plane full of innocents into a building, every time Iran hangs a gay man, every time Saudi Arabia stones a woman to death for driving a car, every time Muslims murder someone for rejecting the evil that is Islam.

Islam is evil - pure and unfettered evil.

I mean, a sect does not have these many followers. In other words, Islam teaches to love people, not to kill them. A Kafir is an unbeliever, someone who disbelieves in the prophethood of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).

The Warlord Muhammad converted by the sword. Muslims continue this to this day, violence is the center of Islam, the heart. It is a religion founded on conquest and war, violence is and can be the only fruit of this poisonous plant, and violence is the only thing Islam has ever yielded.

Sharia law can often be based heavily on the Sunnah which absolutely has to do with Muhammad and the traditions that surrounded his life.

It strikes me as pretty dishonest to judge a religion based on such a selective representative population. If one were to judge Christianity based on the Rwandan and Bosnian genocides from the 90s or based on the ideological systems of the LRA then one might come to the same conclusion concerning Christianity, and that would likewise be entriely dishonest and unfair.

Then explain the treaty of Hudaybiyyah.

Many who utter it want to not have their head cut off with a dull and rusty knife. Remember, convert or die is a common theme in Islam.

No it isn't. In fact, back during Islam's early days the Middle East tended to be a safe haven for persecuted populations within Europe such as Jews and Nestorian Christians.

The real god of Islam is the Warlord Muhammad. Muhammad is who the Muslims follow, Allah is just a hunk of stone in the Kaaba that they bow to five times daily.

That's about as deep as saying that the God of Judaism is the warlord Moses.
