Does it scary you at all that he lost in his last election by 19 points? That is the largest deficit loss for an encumbent Senator in US history. He didn't lose as a GOP senator in liberal hell holes like CA or MA. Rather he did it in an important swing state (a so called purple state).
That is very troubling. What that means is he can appeal to the conservative base, but not to the independents, who are essential for victory!
