Question on improving working class pay to conservatives...

It is not inflationary because A). the supplier pays the tariffs. B). Tariffs go away when dropped, whereas inflation is driven by the economic index of dollars vs. spending.

So you make the point. You paid the tariffs. Some companies absorb them, you passed them on. Maybe you can do that while others feel it would hurt their bottom end too much.
There isnt a math equation in the world that would spit out a better business result if you just paid more for goods and didnt raise your prices. I mean, you could raise minimum wages and say that companies dont have to pass that price on either.

If conservatives really want to improve pay and improve jobs for the working class why not simply support a higher minimum wage for jobs Americans are ALREADY doing? Why not support union labor protection laws so that the workers can get better pay and benefits for jobs they are already doing?

If the plan is to tariff Americans (yes we pay tariffs) so that it makes us buy more expensive US made goods so that better jobs are available in the US (I guess sewing jeans and gluing shoe soles are better jobs) then why not simply drive better wages for jobs we are already doing?

I am not sure I understand the conservative position on business and workers. Can someone legitimately explain the objective of conservative policy without flame wars?

some jobs just dont justify a min wage,,

and it also leaves out the lowest educated people that cant work at a level to pay them a min wage,,

Wages don't need to increase. The value of the USD needs to increase.

hahaha…You lefties can’t get out of your own way.
“We need African slaves…imagine how much cotton would cost without them.”
When did I say that?

You kids just make shit up as you go along.

You're the one that brought up the subject so fuck off
You are allowed to bring it up. You cant call posters that. Those are the rules - second post under guidelines rule #3. The GOP is full of them. That does not allow you to randomly call a poster that. It is 100% against the rules man.

What will tariffs do? They will increase inflation and there is zero wage increase so it is doubly bad. If you are unwilling to pay people more to do jobs, then why support tariffs if their goal is to move low paying jobs to the US for US workers to do them at higher wages? It doesnt sound like it helps the working class.
How do tariffs increase inflation if you buy and use American made products?

What shoes are you wearing? What jeans? What shirt? What blender do you use? You can buy every item I listed made in the USA. Why don’t you?

There is no domestic production of those items at this time because china is cheaper

The trump tariffs remove that advantage from incoming chinese products

Sounds like your projecting.
And don't bring an irrelevant topic up in a post that has nothing to do with the topic. And the person you're calling a pedo may actually be a poster here. So you're actually violating those rules

I gave you a chance. You've been reported.

What really raises wages, aside from a little self improvement is competition. A company moving here to avoid tariffs will be competing with existing companies for workers. They can't get away with poor pay and no benefits.
Or they’ll just keep their manufacturing jobs overseas where the cheap labor is and look for new markets with lower tariffs in which to sell their products….

There is no market bigger than the American market. They can be fair or lose. It's up to them.
