But better he remove himself. Quickly. He still has a shred or two of dignity and, were he to gracefully bow out now he might...though not probably....find himself being considered VP. Worse case, he'd be positioned for a new run in eight years. If he bitterly clings (thank you, Emperor Obama!) to his doomed campaign he'll be spoiled goods and fade away like Walter Mondale and Mike Dukakis.
