Right out of the box, iron sights, my blind ass nailing the x ring on a B27 at a hundred yards. Once I get appropriate optics I expect it will do very well at twice to three times the range.

I never put optics on mine. As I get older my eyes do me any favors without glass

A particular car can be banned off the road, so are cars banned? Is the population banned from owning a car?

But when you go down the route of logic, RIGHTS, comes blurting out. Usually with one or two cliches.

There are 195 countries with a total population of 8 billion

There are 17 countries that ban guns with a total population of 138,734,651

8.7% of countries with 1.73% of the world's population banned guns

There are 5 countries that are classed to have tyrannical governments, only 2 have banned guns

Unsurprisingly, Harris wants to ban 'assault weapons' - just like Biden and Obama and Hillary and just about every other Democrat running for office.

There are something like 25,000,000 AR15s in private hands across the US, plus the millions of other guns they want to ban - it may very well be that 1 out of every 10 guns in the US is an 'assault weapon'.

Question to the supporters of such a ban:
What practical effect will your ban have, and what is your factual/rational basis for thinking so?

I think they want to use the AR-15 as their Trojan horse. It is a semi-automatic rifle. If they can get it banned, claiming it is particularly dangerous, then later, they will come back and say that all other semi-automatic weapons are equally dangerous since they all operate the same way, and those too must be banned…..

The AR-15 as we know is an under powered rifle that is used less often to commit murder than knives, bare hands and clubs…..but they can scare people because of the way it looks…that is why they chose it as their Trojan horse gun

The rental truck was used to murder more people than any gun in any mass public shooting in American history....

At the same time...each year knives, and clubs, are used to murder more people than AR-15 rifles....

According to your logic.....because of those facts, trucks, knives, clubs, must be banned and confiscated....

When a rental truck is used as a weapon, they have killed more people than when are guns used in mass public shootings in the U.S......
