No "body" will convince. Evidence will convince us. Appeal to authority or appeal to popularity are just logical fallacies. Atrocities happen because people follow authority or popularity rather than following sound moral core values and evidence.

Distinctive definitions of war vs. genocide would be the place to start. These definitions and parameters already exist. People just don't seem to be able to apply these parameters to Israel.

Wait, what? Was there a trial held before 124 countries that I am not aware of? Wherein all 124 countries had representatives who collectively heard the arguments from both sides, evaluated the evidence, and made a determination that Israel is indeed guilty of the crime of genocide? So far, the evidence is not good enough. That a child has a gunshot wound is NOT EVIDENCE of anything except that the child suffered a gunshot wound. The gunshot wound alone is not evidence to know the circumstances of the shooting, to identify the shooter, and especially not to determine the intent of the shooter at the time of the shooting. You can't convict people based on assumptions. You need evidence.

The charge is that the IDF has the intent to exterminate the people of Gaza. It is a heavy charge demanding much more than simply the fact that children were harmed in combat in urban warfare. This is especially true when there is significant evidence of mitigation of harm, especially to children.
