Qatar AFB…in Idaho.

Well, the F15s they are learning to fly at their new base in Idaho can be used to attack Israel. I’m sure you guys are all for that;

Didn’t we learn anything from 9/11

Which guys are for it? Guarantee you millions of conservatives are NOT for this.

This is bad. US' military tech should be kept as secret as possible.

"Republic of Singapore air force unit activates

By Master Sgt. Brian S. Orban, 366th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office / Published May 19, 2009

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- After eight months of planning and preparation, the Republic of Singapore air force passed a significant milestone when a new fighter training squadron activated here during a ceremony May 18.

During the event, the Air Force reactivated the 428th Fighter Squadron to serve as the republic of Singapore's flying training unit at Mountain Home. Meanwhile, Lt. Col. Keith Gibson assumed command of the 428th FS, also known as the Buccaneers.

The joint U.S. and Singapore organization is identical to other RSAF training units based in the United States."

"But the facility being built at the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho isn't a separate base at all — it is a group of buildings that will be built to handle training and maintenance for Qatari troops — and the agreement with Qatar has been in the works for years.

“What we expect is it to be squadron operations and hangars for the F-15QA, because that's the Qatari version of the jet that they bought through foreign military sales,” Air Force spokesperson Ann Stefanek said. “It is definitely still a U.S. Air Force base.”

In fact, on-site training agreements with allies are common in the U.S. The Republic of Singapore 428th Fighter Squadron Buccaneers have been hosted at the base since 2008. German forces trained at the Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico for decades. New facilities to train international F-35 fighter pilots were completed at Ebbing Air Force Base in Arkansas last year."

AI Overview

Countries with bases in the USA :

Foreign forces from countries including Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Qatar have had their forces trained on U.S. facilities. These training programs are common and involve hosting foreign military personnel to work alongside U.S. forces, often for pilot training and specific aircraft operations.

Germany: The German air force has a training command at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, and has been training in the U.S. since 1958.

Singapore: Singaporean airmen train on F-15 fighter jets at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho.

United Kingdom: The Royal Air Force (RAF) has units, such as the XVII Test and Evaluation Squadron, at Edwards Air Force Base, California, and the No. 39 Squadron at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada.

Qatar: The country is establishing its own air force training facility at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, to support its F-15QA squadron.

Netherlands: Pilots from the Netherlands, along with pilots from other NATO countries, also train in the United States.

Other examples: Other nations, like Saudi Arabia, have also had personnel training in the U.S., though the status of those training programs can change based on security concerns.

"On Friday, Hegseth said he was "proud that today we're signing a letter of acceptance to build a Qatari Emiri Air Force Facility at the Mountain Home Airbase in Idaho”."

“build a facility” is different than having folks just train here for a few weeks. Yawn. You’re easily dismissed.
Do you know what a facility can comprise? You're an excitable moron. An indoor swimming complex can be considered a facility. As I noted earlier. It is not unusual for foreign military contingents to house independently from other nations for multiple reasons--not the least being language and cultural differences. Now put your tin hat back on and go howl at the moon, I hear the green cheese is molding.

Give Trump a free plane and you get all kinds of perks, huh?

As predicted, Trumplings scurry to run interference.

15th post
The news story is "Qatari air force base in Idaho" is it not?

And it's a lie, as I said before, it is a training facility on OUR AFB! I'll bet money it will consist of housing, dining facility and class rooms. Oh, and possibly a couple of maintenance hangers to train their mechanics.

Mountain Home AFB
The 366th Fighter Wing has the firepower of more than 50 F-15E Strike Eagle. Additionally Mountain Home AFB hosts the Republic of Singapore Air Force F-15SG aircraft.

And now they'll be hosting Qatar. This in nothing new for Mountain Home AFB.

.

But they will be training Qatar pilots how to fly fighter jets, will they not? This sounds bad to me because they are sharing their military technology with foreigners.
We have taught foreign nationals how to fly and operate equip. for over a hundred years.
Good grief.
The US is building a training facility for Qatari pilot trainees...so?

We, no doubt, got some sort of concessions from the Qatar govt.
