I looked up the number of registered republicans in America. The closest I found was the total in 32 states. Those are the states that have people register their party affiliation. There are 18 states that don't so can't count the party affiliation in those states.

So there are 35,042,482 registered republicans in those 32 states. Thirty percent of that works out to 10,512,445 people.

Take in consideration of those 18 states, lets say there's 15 million republicans who believe that.

There are 320 million people in America.

That isn't a disturbing segment of our population.
