The Admiral in charge of the Pacific Fleet since 2012 was demoted to a bureaucratic desk job immediately after the drills concluded. He's now in charge of "military sports training and patriotic education".

Rumor is he refused to send more of his marines to Ukraine after the debacle at Vuhledar.
