JAVELINS pushed the orcs out of Kiev. HOWITZERS stopped the horde from advancing. HIMARS destroyed logistics and ammo dumps. HARM missiles took out air defense systems. So lets run through the logic. IF they just want the Donbass, why are they still fighting? Why are they still attempting to capture cities? Why are they still shooting? If the war in Ukraine is "Lost" for the Ukrainians, then why is fighting still happening?


It only makes sense that Russia is either "bogged down" or is waiting to make a large counter offensive in the Winter at some point to take the Rest of Ukraine. The initial attack on Kiev was to capture it, it was not a feint. So Kiev and the Western part of Ukraine is still on the table.
