While China is learning from the US, Russia hasn't.

You don't invade countries that can fight back. Even Afghanistan was a little too much for the US. Iraq was about their level. They refused to fight in OPEC Iran and OPEC Venezuela because they knew they'd be on to a hiding, even if they could win.

One story was that he was breathless and could not stop coughing but another said this just shows that he is no longer just making his own decisions and that it is the people in his party who are getting concerned. The belief was that they will have got him to compromise.

In case you did not watch he is mobilising 300,000 Russians to fight a war in Ukraine. He is now calling it war and telling his people that the West is intent on destroying Russia. He also said that he was quite prepared to nuke if the west did not stop its threats. The belief is that this comes from the nuke block where his people are staying and the reality that Ukraine has been firing at that playing russian roulette with his soldiers. His speech including using nukes was felt to be truly meant by someone who interprets body posture.
