What you are doing is false equivalency.
Running foreign countries, refusing their people's sovereign right to make descisions and laying claim to their resources is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT BALLGAME.
United States militarily interfering to stop a genocide, help opposition take down an illegitimate dictator or hold his criminality to account, is not at all the same thing.
