putin next ?! Donald Trump said that what happened to Nicolás Maduro serves as a warning to anyone who threatens the sovereignty of the United States.

You don't understand the differences.

Maduro is everything you just described in #117. Illegitimate dictator, criminal, genocide all of it.

And Venezuelans everywhere are ABSOLUTELY dancing and celebrating today.

Do you have some sort of learning disability that I should know about?

How many times do I have to explain to you that it's the running Venezuela and taking their oil at a barrel of the gun that is the big problem her, not specifically removal of Maduro.

What's it going to take for you to get that? A few more repetitions of the same damn thing?

When the other party starts namecalling, that's when I know I won the argument.

I already stopped reading at "learning disability." **** off.

Don't post like person with mental deficiency and you won't be called one. I promise. :itsok:

Yes, and Trump is trying to do the same. Down with Democracy. Power and money rule. If you are not among the billionaires, you are fucked.

The administration doesn't want Venezuela harboring Moscow, China and Iranian empires

do you like this development ?

Venezuela oil in , Moscow (stolen Sibirien ) oil out?

I am totally happy that Maduro was taken and has to pay the price. In the end though, Trump’s actions could end up causing US more than the benefits received. I care more about us more than I care about Venezuela. Nonetheless, WE are not Venezuela and the end result of Trump’s decision and action could end costing US even more than the benefits we get.

That is the bottom line.

Would you say depriving China of an ally and a reliable source of energy should they decide to invade Taiwan is a benefit to the US?

How about if Venezuela turns out to be the domino that causes Iran to flip from a Chinese ally to a US one? Would that be a benefit to the US?

Let me say it ONE MORE TIME. "The end does not justify the means". All the benefits that can be achieved by the ouster of Maduro does not justify the fact that we are acting like a Dictatorship (not a Democracy) and that we acting no different than Putin.

Let ME ask you a question. Do you approve of and support Putin?

The ends can justify the means. Depends on the means. Depends on the ends.

I do not support Putin and removing Maduro hurts Putin.

Do you support Putin? If you think Maduro should have been left in power, then you are defacto helping him.

From my point of view, the only thing that is truly important is not Putin or Xi but the U.S. and our Democracy. For 250 years we have been the "beacon" of Democracy in the world and that has not only applied to how others see us but who we are to our own nation (as far as to Americans). If we give up Democracy in order to be STRONG and fight Putin and Xi and anyone else that is a Dictator, we then become the same thing as who we are fighting against, and that not only destroys what our forefathers built but it destroys ourselves at our own hands!

Democracy will not be canceled. The 2026 midterms and 2028 presidential elections will be held as planned.

In fact the only anti-democratic folks i see around here are the dictators who stole the 2024 Venezuelan election. Having a truly free and fair election there would increase global democracy

that is funny that you say that because Trump has not dismissed the idea of running for a 3rd term (which would be against the Constitution)

In fact, he made a comment that "Xi is president for life and that he wouldn't mind being the same"!

It is evident that he is not going to publicly say that right now, but his ego is hungry to be seen as the greatest president of all time and his bully power actions being seen does leave the door open for him to do the same to us as he is doing to Venezuela and is talking about doing to Colombia and taking over Greenland. What is to stop him from taking over here in the U.S.

So far, he has the total support of his supporters for his bully/power tactics!

Trump can't run again.

And this is about Venezuela.

How can you compare our civilization with an oriental despotic shithole like the 🇷🇺 Mongol–Moscow PREDATORY ulus? We have every right to liberate oppressed peoples anywhere in the world — Tibet, Tyva, Chechnya, Belarusian "Kalingrad"-Smalensk-Bransk-Pskou, Finnish Vyborg, the four northern Japanese islands, and others.

Trump can't run again.

And this is about Venezuela.
No, not only that — the 🇷🇺 Moscow–Iranian– 🇨🇳 Han empires is the main focus.

Let me show you a bit of true history

What event had positive results at the beginning but caused worse results for the long term?

The Treaty of Versailles (1919)
  • Short-term results: The treaty successfully ended World War I and aimed to ensure the German war machine could never again threaten the Allied powers. It provided a sense of justice and security for the victorious nations, who imposed harsh penalties including massive war reparations, severe military restrictions, and territorial losses on Germany.
  • Long-term results: Rather than achieving lasting peace, the treaty created widespread resentment and economic hardship in Germany, which destabilized the fledgling Weimar Republic. The terms were universally hated by the German people, allowing Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party to gain immense political capital by vowing to overturn them. This deep-seated anger and the resulting political instability were key factors leading directly to the outbreak of World War II.
This treaty helped end World War I but then brought about World War II. A worse war !
