Let me first say that I am elated that Trump was successful in snapping up Maduro. The operation was impressive and I have to give him (and the military) kudos for the way they were able to accomplish that.
I will give Trump a "thumbs up" for having done this with this success.
Nonetheless and on the negative side of things, this kind of action opens the door for us (and any other country in the world) to do the same again and again. That is a precedent that might end up being a huge negative as everyone can always find a reason for doing something like this (just like Putin and his reason for invading Ukraine). Unfortunately, the reality is that few times does "the end justify the means".
Such action (though successful) can be a big negative overall.
A little while ago in his press conference, Trump stated that he will be running Venezuela until they can find someone else (a Venezuelan) to run it. Do we have that right (run another country)? This also opens the door for taking over Greenland, Panama, and whoever Trump gets a craving to have. Why can't this also be applied to Putin taking over Poland and China taking over Taiwan. They (Putin and XI) feel they have good and valid reasons to do it.
This action (though great right now) could open the door for world dictators to take over or worse, to cause World Was III to happen. That is the door that Trump opened.
Would such a consequence be worth what Trump did to Venezuela? Can you explain that?
I never claimed theMoscow–Mongol ulus could invade and annex parts of the USA. What I explained was their imperialistic mindset. The Free World produces 60% of global GDP; the Mongol–Moscow ulus produces 1%. Once we choose to fight rather than flee, their
Mongol empire collapses.
what do you know about qazaliq? Putin’s qazaliq — the campaigns in Chechnya, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus , Ukraine, Kosava, etc. — serve to legitimize his claimed Mongol right to rule for the Mongol - Moscow imperialists. Each of these violent expeditions functions not only as conquest but as a ritual of political validation, echoing the old steppe tradition where raids established authority. Successful qazaliq does more than secure territory; it provides ideological justification for the existence of the Moscow empire itself. This is especially powerful in regions of Afro‑Asia where democracy is weak or absent, allowing Moscow to present itself as a rightful imperial center, sustained by force and myth rather than consent.

"Moscowulus has established an expansionist new imperialist state ideology with which it has brainwashed its soldiers, its children, its population. If Moscow ulus were to prevail in Ukraine, it would be tempted to go further."
–Radosław Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland
It wouldnt at all be surprised if Trump had a vision of a tri-polar world, with China ruling over Asia, Putin ruling over Europe, and Trump ruling over the Western Hemisphere.Yes, and Trump is trying to do the same. Down with Democracy. Power and money rule. If you are not among the billionaires, you are fucked.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Putin and Xi were thinking the same thing.
