The USSR was the last country in Europe to conclude a Non-Aggression treaty with Germany. All other countries already had a similar treaty with Germany, starting with Poland in 1934. The USSR agreed to this treaty only after many years of trying to create a system of collective security in Europe. But France and England were not interested in this, and so they surrendered one part of Europe after another to Hitler.Have your Russian history books erased their alliance?
