Ephesians 6:11, “11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
This isn’t like medieval knights in armor. This is a spiritual armour. “Put on” from the Greek is Endou or Endow. Meaning cover or wear this gift. In the LDS Temple, the ceremony is an Endowment and includes the temple garment as part of the Endowment ceremony.
Anti-Mormons make fun of our religious garments. But, to LDS, the Whole armour of God comes alive and we wear this blessing with humility and thanks to be endowed.
