Both Trump and Musk clearly stated that no further unelected bureaucracy would be allowed, but the Musk is an overwhelming "unelected" bureaucrat. The hypocrisy here is overwhelming.

Trump Ruthlessly Mocked For Claim That Era of 'Unelected Bureaucrats' Is Over: 'Elon Is Basically Co-President'

President Donal Trump was mocked online for what users saw as hypocrisy as the pointed out, Elon Musk's large amount of governmental power, despite not being elected.

How can anyone be believed when they personally do what they are vowing to go against?

Yes, he was elected. Trump was very very clear what role Elon was going to play during his campaigning.

People voted for EXACTLY AND PRECISELY what Musk and DOGE are doing.

Not to worry.

For the price of ONE unelected bureaucrat, we dump a couple-of-score-THOUSANDS of unelected bureaucrats.

Sounds like a real bargain for taxpayers.

And, of course, once DOGE has completed its pruning of the Federal government, the ONE will go home.

The Orange Man will see to that... no long-term competition nor sharing-of-the-limelight allowed... ;)

Close enough for Gubmint Work... :auiqs.jpg: :itsok:

A. That would be a YUGE stretch if it were true

B. It’s NOT true of course

This is how ridiculous Musk is

Elon Musk says all 2.4 million federal employees must email ‘what they got done last week’

  • Elon Musk tweeted Saturday all federal employees will be asked to report "what they got done last week," and that failure to reply would be considered a resignation.
The big question is "will Elon Muck READ all 2.4 million responses and pick and choose what responses to accept and which not?"

Oh, and by the way, how long would it take anyone to read 2.4 million emails and evaluate them?

If you read 100 of them per day, it would take 24,000 days (65 years) to read all of them.

So you're claiming that only elected members of the government can look for waste and fraud?

Who told you that silly shit?

Have you ever heard of the president delegating authority?

The president has a cabinet that does exactly that.

Oh, I know. Let's fire every un-elected federal government employee while we're at it.

FYI, Elon Musk has a set number of days to do his job and then he has to close shop.

Let's remember that Obama had several czars that he used to actually run his administration. They were in place for almost the whole time he was in the White House.

Where were the complaints then?

Elon Musk doesn't have any power.

He can't fire anyone.

The only thing he can do is look for waste and fraud and notify the department heads of their findings.

The specific department heads are doing all of the personnel actions.

Ouch! Luckyone's ancestors felt that beat down. :bow2:

Actually no.
That's why Trump had to lie about not knowing anything about Project 2025's agenda.
THAT is what people voted for.
Then he gets elected and Project 2025's agenda drives his entire administration.
Voters DID NOT vote for that.

Ugggghhhhh
Are you being deliberately ignorant or is it more dishonest anti Trump rhetoric?

There was more than one interview where Donald explained what he knew and liked but other parts he didn't like about 2025.

His views were told to literally a billion people before he was elected. How did you NOT hear those interviews? Put your head under a rock? Break your eardrums? Turn off all media sources? Hide in a cave with no radio?

Take your pick....I'll wait to hear this explanation.
