rising inflation due to several situations has driven the cost of food purchases ever higher, unfortunately. Believe me it's not that the farmers are pulling a Pelosi & cashing in big time as can be seen below;

Both farmers & the farm implement engineers do our best to keep our fellow Americans fed @ as an affordable price as we can get it to them.
