You struck no nerve except your own baseless attacks on teachers. I'll bet a teacher ran off with your significant other at one time. That's why you hate them so much!
As for failure, I graduated every student who took it upon themselves to try. I had some failures, the worst of which I tried to save him from himself. I had a student that I kicked out of school that was later allowed to return to school by our principal after I moved to KY. He was shot and killed by another student because he was sexually harassing the shooter's little sister at school. He could not have done that if my principal had not let him back onto the school for him to prowl. That principal in effect fired me for being a better disciplinarian than she could ever be. That was only one of many times she knocked heads with me and then finding out I was right and getting embarrassed in front of her superiors. She was kicked upstairs out of that job after the next disastrous year, where she couldn't hurt anyone.
