People have forgotten what objective reporting of the news is. They have become so used to seeing half truths, opinions, rumors and lies yelled out at them as news, that the reporting of fact seems a myth at this point

You give people to much credit. I do not think they have forgotten at all, the ignorance here is willful and that is by far the worst type of ignorance.
