Has anyone else noticed that whenever blacks advance in some way the first thing some do is to "look back on the times when this wasn't possible" instead of looking ahead to the possibilities these advancements offer. Since blacks have had voting rights for quite awhile, why haven’t more blacks run for public offices? They surely would have gotten the black vote. If a black person doesn’t seek a position, how will they attain it?
