I know for a fact that there are specialty steels made here in the USA which were developed here that no one else in the world can make. There are over 200 different kinds of stainless steel made here alone.

That's solely because american laborers are by far the hardest workers ever at this time. What they produce for their measely wages is unrivaled. There is no competition.
