President Trump: Making America Normal Again

I can answer that question. It's because the trump admin is not going to follow any law it doesn't feel like following.
My good man, that's how we ended up with illegals flooding the country..... And I'm pretty sure it wasn't Trump who didn't follow the law.

President Trump fired at least 12 inspectors general late on Friday night, three people with knowledge of the matter said, capping a week of dramatic shake-ups of the federal government with a purge of independent watchdog officials created by Congress to root out abuse and illegality within federal agencies.

The move capped a week of major shake-ups of the federal bureaucracy focused on loyalty to the president, three people with knowledge of the matter said

Two people with knowledge of the matter said on Friday night that 17 inspectors general had been terminated; a third person said on Saturday morning that the figure was at least twelve. A White House spokesman would not comment for the record, and did not respond to a request for a list of those who had been terminated.

Presidents have the prerogative to dismiss inspectors general. However, they are supposed to give Congress 30 days’ notice before they do so and provide specific reasons. The White House spokesman did not respond to a question about why that law was not followed.

Worthless employees should be fired. If Trump violated some law--I think the rule was 15 days notice to Congress--that will be dealt with. But the country should not be saddled with people who protect the institution instead of doing their jobs for the American people. Any violation of law can be dealt with by Trump putting the people on administrative leave for 15 days and then they're out. I suspect that is what will happen. I do not imagine a majority in the current Congress will have any objection to the firings.

The President is certainly within his jurisdiction to require federal employees to do their jobs.

They were people Trump appointed...........that tells me others recommended them like so many other infiltrators.

Yes. Trump being a complete outsider was more at the mercy of others re who to appoint in his first term of office. I imagine he's much much more savvy now.

I read though that he didn't fire Michael Horowitz, inspector general at the DOJ. That's interesting.

And for the really REALLY intellectually dishonest left characterizing Elon Musk as making a 'Nazi salute':

So the newest AP-NORC poll says only 2 out of 10 Americans approve of Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense. We all know he was confirmed yesterday with JD Vance breaking a 50-50 tie vote. (McConnell, Collins and Murkowski all voted no on confirmation--I can't wait until these three retire or are primaried.)

Well what the numbnuts leave out of the equation is that more than a third of the the some 1,100 respondents didn't know enough about Pete to make an informed opinion.

But the poll does indicate considerable skepticism over this appointment and that a majority of Americans do not consider lack of government experience to be a plus. Of course the MSM/legacy media's blizzard of reports of sexual misconduct and alcohol abuse, all based on anonymous sources and none verified, and giving pretty much nothing else of Pete's history certainly didn't help.

So I'm glad the cancel culture failed this time. And it is now up to Pete to show that he was the right choice for the job. If it turns out that he was not, I am quite sure President Trump will replace him.

They conveniently overlook these things:

Never mind that Hegseth was educated at Princeton and Harvard and served more than a decade in the U.S. Army infantry. Forget that he rose to the rank of major while serving tours in Afghanistan. And disregard that he is a published author who has led veteran advocacy organizations. The problem for these senators was that Hegseth lacks the traditional credential of having worked for a defense contractor, the very type that have been captured over the past two decades by the woke agenda Hegseth has vowed to eliminate.

In a very real sense, Hegseth is qualified because he isn’t "qualified." Almost anybody who checked the boxes that McConnell, Murkowski and Collins demand would be coming from the same groupthink swamp that has made our military weaker in the name of diversity.

I hope Mayor Bass's future in politics isn't all that bright either because she sucks at it. Still in his first week in office, President Trump has been to North Carolina to reassure the hurricane victims there that the new sheriff in town will be there for them. And the same day went to LA to meet with the first responders and fire victims there and cut through the red tape to get them on the road to recovery.

/—-/ Arkansas AG announces big bust on human sex trafficking.
Joe couldn’t have been bothered.
That is a huge concern of the Trump Administration as well and will be a primary focus.

Numerous sources have reported and nobody has refuted that the Biden administration has lost track of more than 80,000 migrant children that are no longer with the adults they came in with or were released to. Almost certainly some of these kids were sex trafficked along with being used as essentially slave labor.

Josh Hawley recently took on Robin Dunn Marcos, Biden's Director of the Office of Refugee Management whose department released these kids to unvetted persons. John Solomon gives a brief introduction to the clip between Hawley and Marcos:

Hey Lisa558 . Were making progress!!! :) While antisemitism is not specifically addressed, it is those supporting Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. who are mostly promoting it.

Early polling by the Napolitan News Service:

". . .Sixty-five percent of voters prefer Trump’s Remain in Mexico policy, rather than former President Joe Biden’s catch-and-release program, with 23% supporting Biden’s approach, according to the poll. Democrats and those who lean Democratic are divided on the issue with 43% and 44% pluralities, respectively, supporting the Biden approach, while Republicans and GOP leaners prefer Trump’s approach by 90% or more. Hispanic voters prefer Trump’s approach by a margin of 51% to 40%. . ."

News flash to the world: If you dump your crooks and creeps and other uglies into this country and then refuse to take them back, there will be consequences:

"President Donald Trump has already begun deporting illegal aliens who have been convicted of other crimes, and one South American country has refused to allow a U.S. plane carrying criminal illegal aliens to land, in what Trump says is a violation of its legal obligations.

Trump announced tariffs, a travel ban, and sanctions against members of the Colombian government in response.

“I was just informed that two repatriation flights from the United States, with a large number of Illegal Criminals, were not allowed to land in Colombia,” the president wrote in a post on Truth Social Sunday. “This order was given by Colombia’s Socialist President Gustavo Petro, who is already very unpopular amongst his people.

Petro’s approval rating has hovered around 30%, according to Al Jazeera.

“Petro’s denial of these flights has jeopardized the National Security and Public Safety of the United States, so I have directed my Administration to immediately take the following urgent and decisive retaliatory measures,” Trump added. . ."
