He has historically been a Democrat and, in 2000, ran for President on some brief glimmer of something called the "Reform Party" which, in Trump's case, meant "If the other parties won't give me what I want, I'll start my own - nyah, nyah!"

Which is essentially what he's playing at every time he announces he might not show up for the next debate, or he might run as an independent, or he might throw himself on the floor and kick and scream until he gets what he wants.

I could be totally wrong in this prediction, but here goes.

Trump will win the GOP nomination. Due to a number of strange twist at the Dem convension Sanders comes out as the Nominee. Being too liberal for many of us.the DNC sees doom and gloom. But good old Donald, due to quite a mumber of gaffs and revelations, hands Bernie the win and the Senate. The counrty may be ready for Bernie.
