Predictions on what will happen with USAID

“The idea of merging USAID and the State Department has been floated by nearly every administration since USAID was established by Congress in 1998,” Risch said on the Senate floor. “I’m supportive of the Trump administration’s efforts to reform and restructure the agency in a way that better serves U.S. national security interests.”

Sounds like it will reappear at some point, with the help of the GOP even.

Trump is only one man, as is Musk.

Hard to fight the entire system by your lonesome.

Risch is mistaken

USAID was established by EO in 1961 by JFK

I hope the congressman is is better informed on other topics than he is on this one

No way congress want's their SLUSH FUND to have any oversight or accountability.

Feb 26 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's administration said in a court filing late Tuesday night that it "cannot" meet a federal judge's 11:59 p.m. Wednesday deadline for releasing frozen funds to foreign aid contractors and grant recipients, potentially setting the stage for it to disobey a court order.
The claim came as the administration appealed the order from U.S. District Judge Amir Ali in Washington to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. The administration asked the appeals court to put Ali's order on hold, opens new tab so it can consider the appeal.

Delay is always the goal when judicial rulings go against Dotard.
