Predict the Electoral Vote

And how do you "know" that?

Or that?

This explains Missouri_Mike -

Yeah...I think things are not going to reflect 2020 at all. Or even 2022
We keep thinking that but then the results remain the same. Until we’re proven wrong it’s a safe bet to go with what they’ve consistently got wrong over the years. They don’t seem to learn from their mistakes.

Change imagination to past performance or history and it’s more accurate.

It’s amazing to me you’re putting all of your faith in the same people that have never been right. But this time they will be?

You mean every election since 2018? That history?

Or the one and only election that went well for Trump, in 2016, when he lost the popular vote and won 3 battleground states by less than 0.5%, and another 2 by less than 1.5%

And that was with massive help from the Russians.

Is that the 'past performance or history' you referred to?

Early results are showing a marked difference in returns.

Just saying.

What the final count will be is still unknown.

Someone suggested it might be a good idea to have a thread where people can predict the outcome of the presidential race. Sites like 270toWin have interactive maps that you can manipulate. There are others as well.

This is the current default

Why vote if the Electoral Vote picks the president? Or is that a stoopid question?

Democracy simply can't survive an idiotic electorate.

Society and voters are not incoherent, partisan, pre-programmed elitists are incoherent.
They are oblivious to the facts and only see the partisan talking points, stupid as they are.

This is what I'm expecting to happen and what I think is the "most likely" outcome.

Regarding election fraud, I think that its going to be harder to execute to the same (or even greater) extent this time around. Everyone has been looking for it and has been identifying/challenging ballot issues BEFORE the fraudulent ballots get mixed in with the legitimate ballots. Election fraud WILL happen, but I suspect that the flames will be fought back enough to where it won't overturn the results this time around.

I DO predict that Democrats will project their own fraud onto Republicans this time around though, and use their own fraud as a basis for not certifying Trump's win. IOW, we are to believe that the 2016 results were illegitimate due to "Russian interference", that the 2020 results were legitimate due to it being the "safest most secure election ever", and now the 2024 results are likely to be illegitimate due to "[insert foreign country here] interference" or "Republican election fraud" or whatever they got up their sleeve this time. So, 2016 was "not secure", 2020 was "most secure ever", and 2024 will be "not secure". How does the level of security keep magically changing like that??

Anyway, if any state doesn't go red due to election fraud, it will be Michigan. I think that the "Sun Belt" states will stay red this time around (they will all overwhelm the fraud... Nevada doesn't have enough voter roll names for D's to make use of, and Georgia is playing nice towards Republicans this time around... Many Arizona Republicans are utilizing early voting this time around after the shenanigans of 2022... North Carolina isn't as close as polls suggest); so it's the "Rust Belt" states that are the most susceptible to fraud. Heck, Michigan currently has more names on their voter rolls than the number of citizens who are even eligible to vote in the first place. She'd have to sweep all three "Rust Belt" states via fraud (and not have any surprise results) in order to barely squeak out a win.

If Trump dominates more than expected, then a 330s-340s final result for him isn't out of the question.

True.
Biden was +4.5% in the total popular vote, but won the EC by ~42,000 votes over 3 states.
I think the dems see what’s happening and know they’re fucked. The early votes aren’t going their way and they need that cushion to win. The 5th will be a blood bath.

Yes it’s a stupid question.

The Electoral College votes reflect the majority vote in each state. So look at it as the popular vote on a state-by-state basis.

They also know that judges are willing to hear fraud cases this time and know that their continued attempts to steal will appear in front of a court.

To reduce these attempts, I’d like to see Congress enact a new law that anyone found guilty of engaging in election fraud serves an automatic one year in jail. THAT will make the Dems think twice before calling halts to the count while they truck in ballots with non-marching signatures, no fold lines, etc.
