Prayers please- cat got killed by car

hi guys, one of my colony cats I feed, care for everyday downtown got hit and killed thursday night by a car just a block away from the colony. He was fixed and chipped, the HS contacted us. He was a big orange/white guy with a long tail. He was so so friendly. He was young still, im very hurt- this sucks. We tried finding him a foster or forever home. The sad thing is the neighbor where the colony is wanted to take him in last year but the husband said no.....
