I saw these things on my local news channel the other day, would this work for him?dog story: thor my doberman is up there in age .....his hips are not great..he has had one knee replaced when he was young....he and buddy the dont give a **** dog...took off friday and ran off day...both came back worse from the wear and tear..thor limping bad...then i couldnt find his new meds....and the cold snap hit...so i go to vet saturday am...get more meds....he looks like hell....cant push any weight on back leg..etc and so forth....i am worried....i have a fuss with grumpy over putting up the old ramp we had for thor when he had his knee done....i won that fuss pretty quickly....thor had fallen twice on steps...sooooo i am all upset over thor and how he is doing so badly...i go out wednesday to mow...apparently i left the door crack or the back door open and buddy and thor get out and disappear again....how the hell can a dog that can barely walk get up that damn hill behind our house....its straight up...so he is apparently doing better than i thought....i know this is his last summer.....too cruel to force him into another winter...he is at the point a good fall on the ice would break his hip or leg....the nightmare neither my vet nor i want to have...
