Just came in from replacing door ajar switches. It's a pain in the rear end removing and reinstalling door panels. Hate it.

Anyway. 67 Federal Reserve Notes for these two little plastic switches that fit just in the palm of your hand.

How much weight did that add to the body of the guitar?

I speak from experience: diamond plate is not the way to go for an aggressive strummer...

It was 1/16". It weighed maybe 5-6 oz. The one it replaced was probably half that, so I guess it added 3 or 4 ounces to the weight.

The owner plays in a local garage band.

Turned a new leather burnisher on the lathe from a black walnut branch I put up to dry a few years ago...sanded it and gave it a few coats of danish oil.
