And like typical west coast liberal lunacy - it is estimated to take at least one year... initially only serve 125 people, with a "hoped for" ability to serve 500.
There are at least 3000 homeless camping on the streets in Portland.

So yeah... pay more taxes for something that is going to cost 100 times what it should, and only provide a small, limited solution to a much-much larger problem.
West Coast logic at it's finest.

Reminds of the story this week where San Francisco liberals canceled plans to build - wait for it - a public bathroom that would only have - wait for it - ONE toilet. And the cost was going to be $1,700,000.

I imagine if you canvased the population of the homeless in Portland, a small percentage were from there. Most of them are DRAWN there.
