There are several definitions of "Faith."I believe in faith. So now you from critical logic to magic stones and wizardry to argue your point?
OK. Go to.
1. A belief and trust God based on evidence but without total proof (empirical).
2. Confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
3. The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Belief requires a person to believe in something. Faith stirs a person to actions. Faith without action (works) is dead. Belief can change and waiver with the wind but our faith stands firm despite the waves of life. I believe Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and the Book of Mormon is the act in which proves this because as I read and pray about the words in the Book, I know it is a true Book from God. The Holy Ghost bears witness to me that it is. I do not need empirical proof. Sad for those that do.
