Ya know, I have been a watcher of Keith Olbermann for years. I liked the fact that he was just about the only person that would get up there and say what was on other peeps minds without hesitation. Tell the truth about some things nobody else seemd to be able to talk about. But I think he is starting to lose it.

I dont watch fox news for a reason. That reason is that the majority of the peeps on Fox News are a bunch of morons. And I am tired of having to watch half of a Glenn Beck show every time I turn on Countdown.

Come on Keith, pull it together fella! Figure out how to get through a whole show without making me sit through Glenn Beck and the rest of those yahoos, hey?

If you have the right attitude, you can learn something from everyone. Heck, I learn stuff from TM and rdean all the time. Mostly about human nature and nothing from the substance they post, but i still learn alot.

Everyone can teach you something if you give them a chance to.

Glenn Beck, Hannity, Rush, Olbermann etc exist for two reasons - as an echo chamber for those who agree with them, and a source of outrage for those who don't. I have no time for manufactured outrage, nor do I need to hear someone repeat the same things that I believe.

When I want to hear people repeating talking points and feigning outrage, I'll log on to this messageboard.

You are a fool. Keith is just a face you have become enamoured with. Keith does not run MSNBC or make important decisions like what he will say on your television. There are probably three our four writers and a producer and an assistant producer with a representative or two from upper management along with a lawyer or two that all get together araound a big table in whats called a pre production meeting and Keith may or not even be there. These people go over what the writers have come up with having been directed what topics to write about for that show. The probably go over a dozen to two dozen pieces the writers have come up with. They settle on probably less than half of the material and that is the show. MSNBC bills more than a million dollars a night in advertising and they do not take any chances with that kind of money at stake. Fox does the same thing. They talk about other popular TV personalities in hopes that the other company will react and give the competition free advertising for thier show.

That's how it works. If you believe Kieth is just being Keith then they have succeeded in creating the illusion they were seeking and you can rest assured you have been hypmotized and will also probably purchase the products they sell on thier commercial breaks.
