Or at ANY level. Women shouldn't be forced to compete against men at any level. It's a biologically
stacked deck!
I would definitely not state that so broadly and solidly.
It's true with regard to most sports], than in nearly all of them, men have a very strong biological advantage over women.
Not surprising, since sports have always been, as far as I know, a male-dominated category of activity, and probably tend to have evolved to showcase male attributes of strength, swiftness, and such.
I don't know if there are any objective sports where women have a similar biological advantage compare to men, but there probably are some; and there would surely be more if women has as long an involvement in sports in general as men have had.
Thinking of women's gymnastics, I'm not sure that really qualifies as a
“sport” in the same sense that most male-dominated sports do, but I can imagine that a man trying to compete in women's gymnastics, no matter what skill he had and how much he trained, would tend to look very clumsy and ungraceful and score very poorly. This is an activity that seems to focus on very feminine elements of grace,, agility, and beauty, that would put a man at a terrible disadvantage if he tried to match them.
Outside of sports, I know that there are several activities in managing our lives, that my wife is much better at than I am. If we were to try to form some sort of competition between the two of us based on the skills and abilities involved in these activities, she'd kick my ass, hard. Likewise, there are some things that I am much better at than she is.
