Poll: Obama approval rating 'under water'

A new poll gives President Obama an overall approval rating of 44%, with 48% of respondents disapproving of his performance.

In late May, the Quinnipiac University national poll gave Obama similar ratings -- 45% approval, 49% disapproval.

That is why we are trying to get such attitudes and individuals out of the party. Reactionaries looking backward and acting like butt holes can't be Republicans looking forward and acting in a 21st century fashion.

I don't know - he doesn't seem to have any mid-term coattails.

He brought his voters to the polls in 2008 and 2012 and provided a boost that allowed Democrats to gain seats in the House and the Senate.

But in 2010 when he wasn't on the ballot - the Democrats got creamed.

So I'm not sure he carries much mid-term clout.
